BioBoard Sandwich Wedges and Wrap Wedges are made from paper with a window made from waterproof bioplastic. These sandwich and wrap boxes are printed kraft-look with non-toxic, environmentally-friendly water or soy-based inks. Our sandwich and wrap wedge packaging has a 12-month shelf life from the date of purchase. BioBoard compostable sandwich and wrap packaging are certified as industrially compostable to European (EN13432) standards and are designed to be part of the circular economy. The paperboard is unlined and recyclable in the paper recycling stream, and the PLA window can be disposed of in general waste or industrially composted.
